a hexagonal kiln. It was created from the need for a compromise between a barrel and a horizontal kiln. The kiln capacity is 112 liters. The unique shape means that it can hold much more ceramics than a barrel and at the same time, like a barrel, it is very convenient for a single person to use. A type of ring kiln. The rings are of different heights, so you can adjust the ring to the height of the work. Sometimes we assemble a kiln from more than two basic rings, when we are firing a very high work. Raku dedicated kiln. You can burn on one shelf but you can also with a shelf. From experience, we use this solution in exceptional situations.

The second application is bisque firing, on one shelf or, if necessary, on several shelves. The kiln holds about 30kg of bisque.

Firing with glaze is also possible, in which case you should pay attention to the temperature in the kiln, there may be a discrepancy on the shelves.

We carry out firings according to the firing curve of the ceramic. After the process is finished, we plug the holes so that the ceramic does not cool down too quickly in the kiln. This does not apply to Raku firing, of course.
